Chain Link Fences
Built to last.
Durable, affordable, and versatile — chain link is the workhorse of the fencing world. We install residential, commercial, and custom chain link fencing throughout the Denver metro with a 4-year workmanship warranty.
The most cost-effective fence you can install.
Chain link fencing has been the go-to solution for backyards, dog runs, commercial security, and industrial properties for over a century — and for good reason. It's affordable, it's virtually maintenance-free, and when properly installed, it lasts 25-40 years.
Modern chain link isn't your grandfather's silver-colored school fence either. Black vinyl-coated chain link has become a go-to choice for Denver homeowners who want the durability of steel with a finish that disappears into the landscape. You get the view without the visual clutter.
At Valenzuela Fence, we install residential and commercial chain link across Denver metro using properly-gauged galvanized steel, concrete-set posts, and tensioned fabric that stays tight for the long haul.

Where chain link works best.
Chain link isn't the right answer for every property — but for these uses, it's often the smartest choice.
Backyard Containment
Keep dogs in, deer out, and kids safe without spending privacy-fence money. A 4-6ft chain link backyard fence runs less cost of a cedar fence.
Dog Runs & Kennels
Chain link is the standard for dog runs because it's bite-resistant, impossible to chew through, and allows full airflow and visibility. Perfect for active dogs.
Commercial Security
Warehouses, equipment yards, contractor lots. Topped with barbed wire provides genuine security at a fraction of the cost of ornamental steel.
Pool Enclosures
Denver and Colorado building codes require pool fencing for safety. Chain link meets code requirements at the lowest cost, with self-closing gate options available.
Sports & Play Areas
Baseball backstops, tennis court enclosures, batting cages, playground boundaries. Chain link handles impact that would destroy wood or vinyl fencing.
Galvanized or vinyl-coated — we install both.
Two main finish options for chain link, each with real trade-offs. We help you pick the right one for your property.

Galvanized Steel Chain Link
The original. Zinc-coated galvanized steel resists rust and weathers well in Colorado's dry climate. This is the most affordable option and the right choice for utilitarian applications — commercial yards, dog runs, construction sites, or anywhere function matters more than aesthetics.
We use 9-gauge or 11.5-gauge fabric depending on your application. Heavier gauge = more durable but more expensive.

Black Vinyl-Coated Chain Link
Galvanized steel wrapped in a bonded black vinyl coating. This is our most popular residential chain link option because the black finish practically disappears against landscaping, trees, and darker home exteriors — you get the security of chain link without the visual weight.
Also available in green and brown vinyl coatings. The vinyl coating extends the lifespan of the steel underneath and is significantly more attractive than bare galvanized for residential use.
Height matters — here's what each does.
Chain link heights we install most often, and what each is best suited for.
Residential Standard
Backyard containment, pool enclosures (code varies), front yard boundaries. Best for containing medium dogs and kids.
Full Residential
Tall enough to contain large dogs and deter casual trespassing. Most common height for residential chain link.
Commercial
Business properties, storage yards, and industrial sites. Often topped with barbed wire for security.
